DMS 4.0 Export Test Scenarios

Introduction

The Shipment Test Tool allows you to simulate various DMS 4.0 Export scenarios.
Each scenario represents a possible stage in the lifecycle of an export declaration, from submission and customs clearance to inspections and alternative proof of exit procedures. 

All DMS 4.0 Export declarations start with:

Status Description
20 - Acceptance The declaration has been technically accepted by DMS and is awaiting further customs processing

 


Scenario 14: Physical Inspection With Document Request

Purpose

The export declaration is selected for physical and/or document control. The logistics process cannot continue until Customs receives the requested documents.

 -   Submit the requested documents to Customs. 

Scenario 15: Physical Inspection With Provisional Release

Purpose

The declaration is selected for inspection, but Customs grants a provisional release. Logistics operations may continue while the inspection is completed.

Scenario 16: Inspection Followed by Request for Information (RFI)

Purpose

During the inspection Customs identifies discrepancies and requests additional information or corrections through an RFI.

 -   Submit a CRE message from Shipment.

Scenario 17: RFI Response Accepted

Purpose

The declarant responds to the RFI with a CRE message. Customs accepts the changes and releases the goods.

 -   The declaration is successfully completed. 

Scenario 18: Happy Flow

Purpose

Scenario 19: Alternative Proof of Exit Requested

Scenario 21: Functional Rejection

Purpose
